Become A Member
“Life in us is like the water in a river.”
– Henry David Thoreau

Our members are the lifeblood of our organization. When you become a member of KWA, you are speaking up for Kentucky’s irreplaceable rivers, lakes and streams. Everyone has the right to clean water. And at KWA we make it our mission to speak for that right!

In our 24 year history we’ve had measurable success in advocating for the health of Kentucky’s waterways. Help us continue our success for stronger water protections by becoming a member today!

Individual Memberships are $25 and Family Memberships are $35. Along with the confidence of knowing that you are standing with the only statewide organization working full-time on water issues in Kentucky, our members receive our quarterly newsletters including a print version called Newstreams and our e-Newsletter, special member rates for KWA events including our annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival

Your membership dues support: Grassroots awareness in Kentucky communities, advocacy efforts as we fight for the strongest regulations possible to protect our waterways from pollution, partnerships that promote safer waterways like our work with the Mississippi River Collaborative, and training for watershed groups and those interested in water issues – ultimately, safer and cleaner waterways throughout the state!

If you would like to check your membership status, please e-mail our Director of Community Engagement, Susan Griffin Ward, at [email protected] or call (502) 589-8008.
