Completed Watershed Plans
Kentucky Waterways Alliance was awarded a Clean Water Act Nonpoint Source Section 319(h) grant through the Kentucky Division of Water in 2004 to develop the Watershed Planning Guidebook for Kentucky Communities, First Edition (2010). To do this, KWA worked in four small watersheds to create watershed plans. The feedback generated during the planning process from the watershed teams was used to develop the revised Guidebook (first edition).
Using the Watershed Planning Guidebook for Kentucky Communities Draft, local watershed teams and KWA created plans for the following watersheds:
