KWA is pleased to announce our 2027-2029 Watershed Grants program.
This initiative offers seed funding to support organizations committed to protecting and restoring Kentucky’s rivers, streams, and watersheds. KWA’s goal is to fund at least one project in each of Kentucky’s seven major river basins. Projects must address nonpoint source pollution (NPS) which is pollution that cannot be directly attributed to a distinct source. Grants fund up to $4,500 per project.
If you are interested in addressing NPS pollution in your area, please consider applying for this grant opportunity. Completed grant applications are due by
November 4, 2026.
