KWA is pleased to announce our 2026-2028 Watershed Grants program. This initiative offers seed funding to support organizations committed to protecting and restoring Kentucky’s rivers, streams, and watersheds. KWA’s goal is to fund at least one project in each of Kentucky’s seven major river basins. Projects must address nonpoint source pollution (NPS) which is pollution that cannot be directly attributed to a distinct source. If you are interested in addressing NPS pollution in your area, please consider applying for this grant opportunity. Completed grant applications are due by December 15, 2025.
Optional Watershed Grant Workshops will be offered to answer questions and provide support on November 6 at 12:00-1:00pm EST and November 20 at 6:30-7:30pm EST. Register here.
