Join us for an evening of film and music in support of Kentucky Waterways Alliance at Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe hosted by SaraDay Events. Through KWA's documentary, River Cowboys, you will experience the the beauty of Kentucky's Red River Gorge and witness the heroic efforts of the "river cowboys" to keep Kentucky’s Red River free of illegally dumped tires and trash. The film documents the history of the Upper Red River Cleanup, how tire dumping issues impact the health of waterways across the nation, and offers some possible solutions. This short but powerful 12-minute documentary will be followed by a discussion and music by Robert Overbee’s Vulgar Movements with lots of time for socializing, food, and drinks.
The film was produced in partnership with Friends of Red River & Wilkinson Visual. Tickets are $20.00 and benefit KWA's mission to protect, restore, and celebrate Kentucky's waterways.
