Getting Involved!
There are many ways to become a KWA volunteer…
- Water Quality Sampler – Become a water watchdog and learn about water quality sampling for your local creek, stream, lake or river
- Watershed Group Member – Participate in Watershed Groups nearby. E-mail Katie or call her at 502-589-8008. You can also visit the watershed section to find out where KWA is actively working with groups statewide.
- Advocacy – Learn more about how to review water discharge permits and work with KWA’s staff in developing comments on permits. E-mail Jason or call him at 502-589-8008.
- Community Outreach & Tabling – Find out how to be a Community Outreach representative for KWA at community events. Volunteers will learn how to get people interested and involved. All volunteers are welcome! E-mail Jennifer or give her a call at 270-932-2884 for more information.
- Administrative – Join us at the Greensburg office, assisting with mailings, phone calls, filing, and research. E-mail Kelly or call her at 270-932-2884 to find out how you can help.
- Internships – learn about internship opportunities at KWA and similar watershed organizations throughout the state.
